Why I started Direct IT Solutions.

I’m Jonathan Jones, and I’ve spent my career on the inside of IT — at help desks, in server rooms, and lately on the security side. The pattern I kept seeing: small businesses pay national MSPs thousands of dollars a month and still can’t get anyone on the phone who knows their environment. The engineer who answers today isn’t the one who set things up, and the one who set things up moved to a different account six months ago.

Direct IT Solutions exists to be the opposite of that. One engineer. Direct line. Real ownership of your environment from day one. Whether you have five users or fifty, you’ll work with the same person who knows your tolerance for risk, your budget, and where the bodies are buried in your Active Directory.

I’m based in Atlanta, Georgia, serve clients remotely across the U.S., and travel for on-site work when it’s the right call. If you’re tired of opening tickets into a void, let’s talk.
